Colonial Williamsburg lives today as it did in the 18th century. It was Britain’s largest colony, a political and cultural Center in the new world during the revolution. Follow the steps of our early patriots, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry. Shop in their shops, dine in their taverns, walk their cobblestone streets. This restoration gives the student a real history lesson, where one may truly picture oneself in the shoes of an early American settler. Jamestown , the first settlement in Virginia, and Yorktown and its battlefields are also part of our trip, as well as Busch Gardens for an exciting change of pace.

Lodging: Most hotels are located within walking distance of the historic area and have enclosed year round pools. They all welcome student groups.

DAY I

• Early morning departure from your school. Bring a box lunch and snacks from home.
• Arrive in Williamsburg in the early evening. Check in at your hotel.
• Enjoy an evening Pizza Party and swim.
• Watch "The Story of a Patriot" on your television.

DAY II

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided Colonial Williamsburg Study Visit.
• Lunch at Merchant’s Square - own expense.
• Visit the Governor’s Palace and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Museum.
• Return to your hotel in the late afternoon to get ready for dinner.
• Dinner at a Local Restaurant OR Dinner in an Historic Williamsburg Tavern - extra expense.
• Enjoy “The Ghosts of Williamsburg”, a candlelight walking tour.
• Return to your hotel for the night.
• Hotel Security.

DAY III

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit Jamestown Settlement, America's first permanent English settlement.
• Continue on to the Yorktown Victory Center which depicts military and domestic life during the Revolutionary War. Visit the 18th century military encampment and battlefields.

  Bus to Jamestown Festival Park. Visit the Glasshouse and see the ancient art of glassblowing. Continue on to Jamestown Settlement, America's first permanent English settlement.
• Pick up lunch - own expense.
• Afternoon and evening at Busch Gardens (call the office the for 2004 schedule).
• Chicken Dinner in the Black Forest Picnic Area or use Busch Bucks to pick up dinner.
• Return to your hotel at park closing.

• Breakfast at the hotel. Pack your bus and check out.
